Wassail!

Cockington Country Park

Join Torbay Coast and Countryside Trust for a traditional ‘blessing of the apple trees’ in the orchard at Cockington Country Park.

Ticket price includes:

• Entertainment from local Morris dancing sides Heather & Gorse and Grimspound Morris.
• Food provided by the Pig Apple: cider-marinated, applewood-smoked West Country ‘pulled’ pork. Vegetarian option available - please indicate at time of booking.
• A choice of cider or apple juice from Hunts Cider, plus complimentary glass of mulled cider/apple juice.
• Decorate a paper lantern activity for those in-touch with their inner-crafter!

The wassail itself will be performed in the orchard - bring cans, rattles, whistles...anything to make a noise to scare away the bad spirits!

Further refreshments available to purchase.

All funds raised go to the Cockington Green Heart Appeal to help complete the restoration work and encourage community involvement in helping care for the park

Suitable for: Adults and children over 10 years

BRING A TORCH! Please dress appropriately for the weather - stout footwear required. You are also asked to bring cans, rattles, whistles...anything to make a noise to scare away the bad spirits! Please consider carefully: there will be loud noises at this event meaning that it may not be appropriate to bring your dog.
