Spring Forage and Cook

Come and join us for a gentle ramble around the nature trail at Occombe. We will collect a wonderful variety of wild edible plants under the expert guidance of our Ranger and identify some other specialities of Occombe too.
In the afternoon we will rustle up some fresh and tasty creations in the cookery school kitchen as a group including; Wild garlic pesto, Spring leaf and flower salad and salsa verde, Nettle, Rosemary and sea salt ciabatta, and a Primavera risotto. We will also make and test a variety of fresh leaf teas including nettle and mint; cleavers; hazel and hawthorn leaf.
