Join Torbay Coast & Countryside Trust at Cockington Visitor Centre for bird-themed activities for all the family.
Getting ready do take part in the RSPBs Big Garden Birdwatch? Got a new birdfeeder or nest box for Christmas? Simply want to find out more about some of the common birds that visit your garden or that can be spotted in the country park? Join us on 20th January and discover more about some of Britain's common garden bird species plus one or two of Cockington's avain residents.
* 'Top 10 Garden Birds' Talk 1.00pm £3 for adults, £1.50 for children (all children must be accompanied by a paying adult) Learn how to identify 10+ of our most common birds with local bird expert Mike Langman
* Guided Walk 2.00pm £3 for adults, £1.50 for children (Under 16s must be accompanied by a paying adult) Join Mike Langman for a guided walk around Cockington Country Park, looking and listening for different resident bird species present at this time of year.
* Bird-themed activities 11.00am to 3.00pm Drop in anytime - no booking required, donations please, suitable for ages 6 and up We'll have bird-themed crafts to make, barn owl pellets to disect and a bird-box challenge to undertake!
PLEASE NOTE: Seperate tickets must be purchased for the walk and for the talk, you will be able to select each once you have clicked on the 'Book Online' button below. There is only one session time for each activity, as given above; please ensure you book for the correct session.

Additional information: Meet at Cockington Visitor Centre. Please bring print out of ticket as confirmation. You may like to bring a pad and pencil to take notes. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear if joining the guided walk.
